Awesome sledsFeb 05, 2010
By A. Cowell Really loved Amazon here-- the forecast called for a lot of snow. Everybody hit the local stores across several days trying to find sleds for their kids, but I just ordered this pack of three sleds for my three kids and, being an Amazon Prime member, had it overnighted for $4. The sleds showed up on time, and the kids had a blast. My older two used them for three days and gave them the thumbs up. The sleds were fast and very sturdy, standing up to even my 200 pound self sledding with my youngest with no signs of wear or flimsiness.

fun, durable, and a great priceNov 08, 2009
By Megan Theodorou These sleds are so great! My son was 4 when we got them last Christmas and we could both ride in one just fine. Haven't gone on any super steep hills yet but I imagine they would hold up just fine. He can go on it by himself no problem.

Today I bought 2 of these sleds, 1 each for my 11 and 8 year old kids. We took it to some steep, long hills, packed with a little bit of snow and Wow! I ended up using the Winter Lightning sled while my kids alternated between this and a saucer. It had a nice, fast, smooth ride that took me as far as any of nearly 200 sledders made it to the end of the hill. I'm 5'7", 145 lbs, and the sled was plenty big enough for me. My 8-year old could have also sat in the sled with me.It took me several attempts to get the hang of steering it by shifting my body weight, but that's because I had never gone sledding before. I started out overshifting my weight, and you already know what happened - wipeout. It was so much fun that I can't wait to go sledding again. I think it was moving faster than the majority of sleds and saucers that were being used. It's a great sled at a great price.

Much better than the reviews make it out to be!Jan 11, 2011
By 4 Kids 3 horses 2 dogs 1 husband Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R2KY7LTO2TH323 I guess what you think of these depends on your expectations. Living in Tennessee, I didn't want to spend a lot to get something for my family and these are cheap! However, we just had a full day sledding with them. The kids had a ball and the sleds held up fine, even with two, or even three!, people on them going down a good size hill. Hey, they may break tomorrow, but it isn't like we got them and they all shattered the first day or first use!

Great sleds, great value!Feb 11, 2010

I was worried when I bought these sleds that they might suck - the only reason I could think of that they came in a 3 pack was that they must be poorly made, and will break easily... But this is not the case! They seem sturdy, and fit me and my son easily. I am really happy I got them, and I think the value is great. Next year when my son is old enough to sled on his own we will have one for him, one for me, and one for my husband - so now I'm glad I have 3! The only downside to these sleds is they don't come with string pulls, only holes for them. So you will need to add your own string. Not really a big deal.
